Prefabricated grandstand for the Mario Rigamonti Stadium

Brescia, Italy

The Mario Rigamonti stadium is a sporting facility based in Brescia (Italy) that was inaugurated in 1959. Built for a multifunctional usage, today it hosts especially football activities.

Over the years many reconstruction works have been carried out to align it to the legislation of the Italian football big leagues and in 2012 CETA designed the new grandstand of the North Corner.

The grandstand is model G2M and consists of 3702 seats model DROP of two different colours (white and blue), used to form the logo of the team. The grandstand is equipped with original accesses: the corridors and the stairs are located under the tubular structure and to reach them it is necessary to take the slides of the cement grandstands, on each side of it. On the superior part 4 stairs and a central corridor are installed to allow the public to move easily.

The main feature of the grandstand is that it is particularly close to the football camp: in fact it has been constructed on the athletic field (unused today), to allow the supporters to participate to the match with greater involvement. Besides, all the nets in front of the grandstand have been removed to allow the public of the first rows to have an excellent view.
