Total renovation of the San Quirino church’s lighting system

Total renovation of the San Quirino church’s lighting system

The church is in San Quirino (PN) and it was built in the 16th century, it has a longitudinal layout with three naves, later, in the 19th century, it was enlarged and lastly it was consecrated in 1869. It has a ledge façade divided in three parts by four lesenes. Inside the church there are conserved a couple of canvasses by Pier Antonio Novelli (uncertain attribution).

Considering the features of the ceiling and the existence of an adequately broad cornice in the central nave, we decided to use only reflected light. Above the cornice, all along the length of the nave and the chancel, there were installed LED light bars art.2.5630.300bc. The scenic effect obtain is really good and the lighting on the pews is higher than 150 lux. The altar was lit with two LED projectors art.1.AW4060.830.
