Mama Campo in Madrid is a combined restaurant-store that takes pride in its support of local artisans and exclusive use of organic ingredients.

From eggs provided by their supplier Mikel’s “happy hens” to Angel’s sun-ripened fruits and vegetables, every product comes from a local network of small producers practicing ecologically sound methods. With an emphasis is on recapturing traditional flavors, the menu includes updated versions of classic casseroles, stews, soups and salads. Divided into three customer areas – a restaurant, a grocery store, and a children’s area – Mama Campo can thank such international names as Tom Dixon, Piet Hein Eek and Wow Estudio for its design. Work from such artists such as Carlos Villoslada and Elena Hormiga is on display as well.
