A uniquely conceived residence in Portugal

As very often in architecture, when you take two very popular trends and mix them together, the result is going to be interesting. That’s precisely what Cardio House does. First of all, the house is made by Portuguese architects Caldeira Figueiredo which helps highlight the fact that Portuguese architects are taking over the world. The second point is the disparition between indoor and outdoor. You might not agree with the house’s strange shape of two rather rough concrete parts connected by a central piece, but it’s precisely why the garden and the pool smoothly get absorbed by the house, forming this protected place in between patio and garden. And you can’t deny that the curved pool is awesome!
