Tables At This Restaurant Have A Roll Of Paper That Serve As A Continuous Tablecloth

Move Matter Architecture have designed Greek Eats, a small, bright, contemporary Greek restaurant in the upper east side of Manhattan, New York.

Large windows fill the restaurant with natural light and a simple black and white color palette with a few wood details gives the small restaurant a bright, modern, minimalist feel.

Along the back wall, black subway tiles and a large marble counter create a sophisticated look, while the handwritten menu on the white wall and the natural look of the stools and counter gives the space a casual vibe.

Rolls of paper attached to the wall above each of the booth tables provide the tablecloths and make it easy to clean the table between customers. The large rolls of white paper also contribute to the casual feel in the restaurant and contrast the black paneling along the wall.

At the back of the restaurant is a more formal dining area featuring a wall of oils that adds authenticity to the Greek restaurant and a horizontally placed mirror that helps the small space feel larger and more open.
