mitsuhiro shoji completes minimal studio for tredia china in shanghai

designer mitsuhiro shoji from uchida shanghai has realized the interiors of the tredia china office space as a minimal studio brushed with bamboo, mesh and steel. the working hub is situated between the city’s old and new parts, as if taking part in the mixed and blurred urban line.

controlled by a pure white color, the interiors were developed by mitsuhiro shoji as various spaces defined by movable mesh panels and furniture laid out in a limited square meter. ‘I aim at an effect where I take in the outside scenery via a layer of mesh and a mirror strategically located, as well as project within the neighboring time changes,’ explains shoji. even more, the design is defined by flooring and material made of aged bamboo so as not to create a monotonous pattern all throughout the space.
