located in barcelona, the design of the betevé TV station by architect stefano colli is part of a re-branding project led by FOLCH studio. ‘the imperfect city is the plot of this new nude view, direct and without artifices. the new set is defined by a raw and very sincere space,’ explains colli.

for this project, FOLCH studio used the ‘lower case as a brand statement’ for the betevé logo to elicit accessibility, simplicity and interaction. following that thought, stefano colli offers a TV set with just a few elements that are arranged in a flexible manner around a table – minimizing unnecessary décor. there is no single direction, front or back do not exist; just a sole scene in which several elements and cameras are organized in all 360 degrees without a background and right inside the premise where the set is placed. even more, the integrated lighting system generates different registers, controlling the intensity and the color of the light sources among the furniture.
