#RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE PROJECTS

these modular pods by florian marquet are designed to replace homes for future generations

shanghai-based architect florian marquet proposes ‘the org’, a second breath in the current and future housing market, contributing to the balance and equality between the young upcoming and existing elder generations. the modular system is easy to fabricate and responds to the current needs of its inhabitants.

the org’s modules are raging from flexible workspace, green farming, e-commerce share kitchen to showering and sleeping function. the system gives the inhabitant the opportunity to be self-autonomous and independent.

it will be able to be ordered instantly via the app on smart-phones or other technological devices. due to the standardization and modularity, it will be easy and fast-assembling. the ordering system will give the user the advantage of personalizing the org unit based on their needs. it has been conceived to be able to move freely, giving the opportunity to the young generation to live dynamically in a city.

having a movable home is certainly part of our future. the future home needs to be part of the dynamic process that connects human and technology together rather than separating them from each other. the org is not a personal living tool, it is a sharing system.

community-friendly, the system of org is 100% shared and recyclable, making the user experience a sustainable loop

energy-efficient, the org can self-sustain itself thanks to several technological systems

the org comes in different sizes depending on the needs of its users.

customization is easily available via function modules on demand of user needs, including sleeping, cooking, gardening, gaming, working, etc.
