setter architects creates flexible workspace for facebook tel-aviv

‘facebook tel-aviv’ is spread over four floors in a high rise building on rothschild boulevard in tel-aviv, israel.

the building was completed by firm setter architects, who created a program that syncs the company’s values with a space that serves its inhabitants. it is functional, with organic and natural features that form an optimum setting within the urban environment.

distinctly middle-eastern materials work in tandem with recycled pieces, and in cases have been reinterpreted to yield unique artifacts throughout the interior. a vertical green wall plays a heavy part of the space, taking up a significant portion of one level. conceived as a standing partition, it also gives workers a brief escape — physically and mentally – from the office setting.

part of facebook’s mentality is the encouragement of collaboration in the work place. in response, setter architects openly organized spaces to make it as accessible, and flexible, as possible. various seating and work arrangements can be used, with multiple environments in which to foster spontaneity and creativity.
