Raise your hand if you’re in need of a weekend in the country! Land Arquitectos has just what you need. Rambla House is a weekend house located on the central coast of Chile, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Taking full advantage of the exquisite panorama, the interior of the Rambla House creates a clear connection with the exterior. In fact, much of the “interior” space is actually outside, protected only by a bit of roof and some columns. Even the part that is fully enclosed is open to the exterior with floor-to-ceiling glass.

Concrete beams were chosen to support the structure and provide ventilation, preventing the common coastal humidity from infiltrating the interior. Additionally, all wood was treated with a white-tinted product that protects the material from salt water as well as increases the brightness.

Finally, the most important details. The house has an outdoor barbecue space and an ocean facing pool! Clearly, the Rambla House is the ultimate summer fiesta palace. We just need to figure out how to get an invite.
