Hydra and Cubo combine elegance and vivacity
Building on Phoenix Lake fitted with drainage channels from Richard Brink GmbH & Co. KG
The RIVA 1 building on the harbour promenade of Dortmund’s Phoenix Lake has been occupied since 2013. Commissioned by Dreier Immobilien, architectural firm Schamp & Schmalöer – also from Dortmund – created a five-storey office building including restaurants and penthouse apartments with a clear design concept. With its light coloured façade and cubic shapes, the building clearly expresses its urban character. The stainless steel mesh grating and the drainage channels supplied by Richard Brink GmbH & Co. KG fit perfectly with the sleek elegance of the building. The Cubo and Hydra models are also made from high-quality stainless steel and can be relied upon to drain away rainwater. As a threshold element of the façade, they link the indoor and outdoor areas of the new building.
