Flower Tower
Łódź is located almost in the central part of Poland. It is not only the main city in the łódzkie province but also the valued academic and cultural center.
In Łódź, there is the longest street in Europe called Piotrowska. Currently, it is a real city showcase but also the entertainment, trade and business center. In 2010 the street was decorated, along the whole length, with the Hanging Flower Towers fixed on the street lamps. There were 163 flower baskets used to add some colors to the grey pavements and streets. All because of the effect of the flower balls which create the Hanging Flower Towers.
163 Hanging Flower Towers have been used to plant the Piotrowska street. Thanks to that, seemingly unavailable space became colorful and vivid. Decorations fixed on the street lamps turned out to be an excellent choice and did not limit the space for citizens and visibility from the nearby street.
