Renovation of Agrocampus-Rennes

A compact character, combined with environmental performance. This renovated building is an architectural standard of the metropolis of Rennes.

Joris Ide was chosen as a partner because of his expertise in aesthetic and technical facade solutions.

The main challenges we have identified:

The aesthetic with a blade respecting the vertical alignment with the frames wanted by the architect.

The technicality with a blade with varying steps, custom-tailored.

A more or less strong perforation (with a high perforated headband) that allows to serve as guardrails and to conceal the exits of roofs

Easy to implement with Blade laying on board, with hollow joint.
