Adeli & de Rham - C.C.M. - KRION® - “The Emirates Hall – ONU – Ginebra”
For KRION®, the Solid Surface of the PORCELANOSA Group, all the projects in which our material is present are important, but sometimes, there are projects of which we are especially proud to have been part of. We take this opportunity to thank the architects Siavosh Adeli and Joakim de Rhamm, and the transformative company C.C.M. ITALY, for relying on our KRION® material for the furniture of "The Emirates Hall" inside the E building of the United Nations Organization, in Geneva, Switzerland.
C.C.M. ITALY, based in Bergamo, specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of interior products and systems for airports, metro / rail stations and ferry terminals, a large project-oriented organization capable of handling a fully integrated package of interior furniture, finishes and accessories. Due to its long experience and reputation, it was chosen by the prestigious architects Siavosh Adeli (Adeli Interior Architecture & Partners Ltd) and Joakim de Rham (Swiss Bureau Interior Design), for the construction of this, one of its most emblematic projects.
The Emirates Hall, has been a gift from the United Arab Emirates, UAE, to the United Nations in Geneva, the largest building in the UN, after the facilities in New York. The work began in July 2015 and ended in May 2016, in which improvements were contemplated, architectural, technological and design, in which KRION® has been part of our color 1100 Snow White, in its transformation into furniture and 1102 Ivory , as a vertical coating around the circular perimeter of the room.
We can find KRION® in all the conference tables, like everything important in life, after its visual cleanliness, its elegant line and its timeless design, there is a work in which its imperceptible joints, thermo-curved, screen integration, sound ... go unnoticed in pursuit of simplicity and practicality, leaving the object and material in the background, to support the purpose and purpose of the room, the union of nations.
