Lake View Residence is a study of architecture living in harmony with the environment.

Alterstudio’s design not only respects the existing landscape but uses a plethora of environmentally friendly technology. Settled amidst a grove of ancient oak trees, the house takes full advantage of stunning views of the Bright Leaf Preserve and the Colorado River. The shade from the trees also naturally cools the house, while strategically placed skylights still let natural light filter through, limiting the need for electric lights. Other features include geothermal HVAC systems, a photovoltaic array and FSC certified woods throughout the building.
