INIALA BEACH HOUSE INTERIORS BY A-CERO

How A-cero made Phuket even better than it already is

If you know a little about Thailand, you might have heard about an earthy paradise called Phuket. Well the architecture firm A-cero led by Joaquín Torres and Rafel Llamazares have managed to make it even better by designing the interior of a unique hotel and restaurant located there. One step away from the dreamy white sand beaches, the hotel is composed of 10 villas designed by different architecture firms. Among these houses, A-cero had the task to design the amazing interiors of the Villa Bianca. The firm designed the entire setting, including the furniture of the two bungalows.

The two beach houses were designed to complement each other and yet contrast at the same time. On one side, vertical lines, light local wood on the floor and dark wood ceiling and in the other bungalow, horizontal lines, dark wooden floor and light wood ceiling. This opposing, yet intricate design gives a sensation of equilibrium -ying & yang houses. The materials used contrast each other and yet are beautifully mixed. As mentioned before, local woods are used for the general design as well as a beautiful high quality white polycarbonate for some of the walls and furniture.

The other sensation in this paradise is the restaurant. Once again, A-cero took care of the interior design as well as the design of most of the furniture. The restaurant is an echo of the two houses and of the surrounding landscape. It is designed as a glassbox with open views all around. Once again, curved lines and local natural materials are used and create a link with the two houses. Curved wood panels are laid out in a wave pattern, reminiscent of the heavenly beach outside. A true piece of paradise.
