GARDEN LIBRARY BY MJÖLK ARCHITECTS
The ideal hideaway for bibliophiles everywhere
We’ve found our personal paradise: the Garden Library by Mjölk Architekti. A tiny wooden cabin in the middle of nature, the Garden Library is entirely consecrated to literature and places for being a lazy bookworm.
Located in the Czech Republic, the library offers two storeys of glorious, page-turning goodness, complete with a fireplace in the first-floor reading room and a place for sleeping on the second floor.
As for building materials, the bookshelves serve as the main structure of the library, and the structure was completed with plywood and a fiberglass exterior.
Thanks to picture windows, light-colored wood and a roof that opens to let the sun, the structure is not lacking in sunlight. Like we said, paradise. If you need us, we’ll be in the library.
