OSICE HOUSE INTERIOR
Making us murmur in reverence, Prague-based OOOOX Architects transform rugged and heavy materials into featherlight works of art
In the Osice House Interior, the firm has confected a rectangular dining table composed of dense wood beams floats right out of the kitchen island; its long, clean lines draw in the eye and satisfy our ravenous appetite for well-executed minimalism. The project’s crowning jewel (as pictured in the gallery below)? A crescent shaped Foscarini Jamaica light that gently hovers above the cantilevered architectural lust-fest. This is one of those rare instances where we feel like using the word ‘chunky’ is, in fact, complementary. As an added bonus (no less a functional one!), after dinner sweeping is slightly less odious.
