SMALL SPACE, BIG IDEAS: 29 M2 BY 3XA
A tiny dwelling with maximum space in Warsaw
29 square meters is small, but big enough to leave room for creativity. 3XA took a studio apartment in Warsaw, Poland, and added some intelligent design. Since the 3.7-meter ceiling wasn’t high enough to create a full second level, the designer installed a semi-mezzanine that provides ample room for sleeping. As an added bonus, the staircase to the mezzanine and the hallway beaneath provided extra storage opportunities – something which is often hard to come by in small spaces. A blind door was added to provide a visual illusion of space, and the living areas were combined into one room, leaving the apartment open and filled with natural light. We love it!
