shanghai hot dog shop by linehouse incorporates a wild west theme

located on the banks of the huangpu river in shanghai, local studio linehouse has completed a hot dog shop that incorporates a wild west theme

in addition to the decor, the design team were also asked to create a new fast food identity for the store – named ‘lone ranger’. the exterior features a playful composition of white timber weatherboards, raw wood, and custom printed tiles featuring an arrowhead motif. when opened, shutter panels reveal the continuous pattern which wraps the restaurant’s counters and floors. inside, the four meter high ceiling is painted a bright yellow with a woven rope structure creating an apparatus for the lights to hang from.
