This six-story house in Paris is a solar-powered, self-automated home with serious sustainable features. Re-designed and equipped with high-performance technology, La Maison 14 brings green living to a new level of innovation with automation, rainwater harvesting, geothermal energy use and smart lighting. A six-story eco-friendly home offering 663 square meters (7,136 square feet) of sustainable living, La Maison 14 is the newest property listing from Paris-based property investment firm BM-Finance. The house is equipped with a self-automated system that controls lighting, alarms, and the swimming pool. The heating and cooling ventilation is adjusted automatically by geothermal energy sensors. In addition, there is an Energy Recovery Ventilation (EVR) system which cleans and recycles air from the swimming pool, thus creating a constant flow of fresh air without zero loss in thermal comfort.
