FAMILY HOUSE IN VALENCIA

The family that lives in that single family home decided to give a change to the hall, living room and dining room of the house, which was divided into three separate areas.

Since the very beginning our proposal was based on the removal of every partition to open spaces and to provide the largest breadth to the room.

A large sliding wooden door of two leaves, with rails on the ceiling, is designed to give independence to the two living rooms, but when it is open is embedded in the wall, unifying spaces and multiplying amplitude.

The dining room also becomes independent with sliding doors, but in this case a smoked glass division is designed, allowing the entrance of natural light to the room.

New furniture is combined with existing pieces in the house, and singular objects as the fireplace is redesigned. A black glass blends into a single piece TV and fireplace. Television is camouflaged behind the glass and is only perceptible when it is on.

The changing of the pavement in both the dining room and the hall, gives warmth and modernity to the house.
