#RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE PROJECTS
SilverWood House
The first project of Ernesto Pereira is a house for a couple in Vila do Conde, Portugal, designed without any budget limit nor deadline, just to answer the client’s need.
For his first big project and work, Portuguese architect Ernesto Pereira was commisioned to trasform an old house into the new residence of a couple, without any budget limit nor deadline.
The request only entailed the following: a work of art, a fascinating product in which the couple could see themselves living in.
And so, he sought out to know them, exhaustively, their tastes, quirks, routine and pleasantries. A solution was presented: The SilverWood House.
The remodelling work was one of a soulless house of typical construction, interior distribution and rural exterior interpretation. Pereira decided to bring the beach to his clients so that they could feel, every day, the proximity of the dunes, sand and untreated wood.
