Marcel van Heeswijk designs airy office for GoodHabitz in Eindhoven
Enhancing an office; Here's new working space that provides an elegant interior.
GoodHabitz, an online education hub in Eindhoven, Netherlands, hired Marcel van Heeswijk to design the interior of their new office space. Since the company’s mandate is the transfer of knowledge, van Heeswijk created a pair of stages equipped with workstations, where clients can focus. These stations have sound-dampening partitions, which allow for greater focus and concentration, as well as privacy during consultations and phone conversations. Additional, movable noise barriers made of galvanized steel are placed around the open space, and one corner of the loft is used as a consultation room: it’s screened with a coconut fiber wall, which also helps to dampen acoustics. In the waiting area, a large bar has been created from a tree trunk with an LED lamp overhead, and two of van Heeswijk‘s signature concrete sofas add extra color to the space in hues that match and complement the partition walls.
