Fireplace Ideas – This Double-Sided Fireplace Separates The Living Room And Dining Room

This chalet, designed by French interior designer Angelique Buisson, has contemporary interiors with separate dining and living areas, however they both get to enjoy the warmth of the double-sided fireplace.

The double-sided fireplace is positioned next to the wall that separates the two spaces. Custom built benches provide firewood storage and a seat or space for decorative items.

From the dining room, the fireplace sits flush with the wall, creating a seamless look and providing glimpses of the living room through the cut-out.
