Casa Invisibile is an innovative, tailor-made prefab home with mirrored walls

Viennese Delugan Meissl Associated Architects have come up with an innovative housing unit to fit any client's needs.

The gorgeous 'Casa Invisibile' is a prefab, modular, wooden home that can be tailor-made in size, materials, location and pricing. One of its many options comes complete with a stunning, mirrored-skin, which reflects the surroundings and the changing of seasons.

Delugan Meissl’s idea of the future home was designed with flexibility and spatial quality in mind. Its modular, tailor-made design gives clients’ the freedom to choose from a variety of facades (we hope the mirrored-style comes with the infrared film that protects birds from flying over it!), materials and size, adapting to different tastes and budgets. The house is designed for easy assembly and disassembly and can be transported via truck straight to the client’s desired locale.

The home’s interiors are bright, minimal and wooden, boasting an open layout plan focused around a geometrical chimney. Its modular design allows for a change over time and its custom-made, simple furniture is also optional with the purchase.

We need more mobile flexible concepts like this to help out with the increasingly critical housing situation happening all around the world.
