The Verandah House By Modo Designs

Modo Designs have recently completed a contemporary house on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, India, that has a curved layout to take advantage of the views of a lily pond and the surrounding landscaping.

Running along the length of the house is a covered patio, set up with multiple different areas for relaxing.

Sliding wood-framed glass doors open the interior to the patio and create an indoor/outdoor living environment.

Separating the social areas of the house are four floor-to-ceiling panels, that when rotated reveal hidden bookshelves and an opening to a secondary living room.

Located just off a curved hallway that leads to the bedrooms, is a small private courtyard with a patio and plants.

Sliding glass doors are also a feature of this bedroom, allowing it to open up to a private patio space.
