Gustavo Penna completes the Elegant Forluz skyscraper in Brazil

Brazilian firm Gustavo Penna Arquiteto e Associados just completed their Forluz skyscraper in Belo Horizonte in Brazil

This 23-floor building combines an elegant monolithic design with sustainable design strategies like natural ventilation, reused materials and daylighting.

The building is located on Av. Barbacena, in the Santo Agostinho district, in the central region of Belo Horizonte. It is meant to establish an aesthetic relationship with the neighboring current headquarters of CEMIG – Edifício Júlio Soares.

The green building, equipped with special systems for frames, windows, air conditioning, ventilation, facilities and automation, was built using natural resources and low energy cost construction materials. It offers stunning views of the city and constant presence of greenery, while its flexible layout and organization allows for multi-functional arrangements
