C.F.E.A.Z.C.A

This project will never be built. I made it ten years ago in the context of an international Seminar of architecture in Madrid. There were several of the best architects in the world like Zaha Hadid, Peter Cook, MVRDV, and one of my best architects of all time, Lebbeus Woods. So this is an experimental project, but I worked in several interesting things that I would like to share.

The project is the result of the materialization of an operative system susceptible to variations in its configuration from different stimuli in its surrounding, and the preferences intrinsically programmed into its function. Each function is associated with a pendent, a volume, a density and some degrees of relative compression characteristics. The relative position of each function conforms in concord with the different parameters of the surroundings and the optimisation of the global function. The final result appears as a system of flexible planes, which dematerialize towards the ground and which, in conjunction, escape a rigid formal definition; it could be described as more linked to the concept of areas of probability
