Bamboo Pavilion
Bambuspavillon
As one of the theme pavilions in the Taiwan World Flora Exposition, this bamboo pavilion corresponds to the global trend of reducing the carbon footprint. Its design emulates the Central Mountain Range on Taiwan Island. At the same time, the building symbolises a seed as a sign for sustainability and eternal growth. Its appearance, with its network of bamboo and the use of traditional methods of wall construction, mirrors far-eastern authenticity. The pavilion invites visitors to linger and take time to relax, but also offers facilities for exhibitions and cultural events.
The design of this bamboo pavilion combines sustainability with both an artistic attitude and traditionally minded aesthetics in an impressive manner.
