An office disguised as a home in Cordoba

Built in the spaces of an old single-family house, the headquarters of a company in Cordoba, Argentina. rejects all the stereotypes of office life and converts to the comfort and liveliness of a real home.

Among the many revisitations that question the identity of contemporary offices, the one implemented by Circo Espacio Creativo studio in Cordoba, Argentina, takes the form of an explicit dissimulation. Stripped of any stereotypes related to the “nine to five” work organization, an old house is reinterpreted as a succession of living rooms where the tables resemble a dining area and the furnishings – from the cushions on the numerous sofas to the carpets and plants – restore all the realism of a domestic environment.

Dominated by the noble materials of terracotta and old wooden beams and crossed by the light coming from the many windows facing the garden, the interiors find a further bond to the outdoor via chromatic inserts in green and blue on walls and niches. Distributed in succession, the rooms cancel any hierarchical arrangement of roles, in favor of a flexible and horizontal organization of tasks.
