this concrete bus station in the western spanish region of cáceres has been designed by architects isabel amores and modesto garcía.

built on a semi-rural site that borders a large silo complex, the design features a canopy which wraps around three sides of the scheme enclosing parking spaces below. the bus station’s internal spaces are contained within a more rational structure, which is interspersed with glazed atria that help ensure a visual transparency throughout the project.
