relax poolside at casa as in buenos aires by alric galindez architects

alric galindez architects’ ‘casa as’ sits on the edge of an expansive golf course in buenos aires, argentina.

the residence is separated into two floors, with continuous glass lines running vertically across its entirety. an aesthetic feature, the linear window panes also protect the home from whatever stray balls may fly its way. all views in the home are oriented towards the course rather than the road in front, thus all frequently-used spaces are located as near to that side as possible.

‘casa as’ has a minimal material palette which includes textured stucco, cement flooring, iron window frames, and natural woods. interior and exterior choices are the same, creating a sense of continuity between inside rooms and the home’s three covered outdoor areas. covering for said places, are provided by the cantilevered second floor, which extends itself over the entrance, and two back patios.
