#COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURE PROJECTS

BENUAR | Valery Lizunov

Fine dining place by day is turning into restaurant with show program by night.

The idea came from the location — the seaport, so the space is bright with the vast glass area, reminding of Mediterranean Cipriani restaurants.

Balanced by textures, materials and space interiors here are to make customers feel comfortable, just like at home or on a yacht (two walls of the restaurant open onto parapet behind which the seashore begins): relaxed, feeling the place meets their highest expectations.

Throught the glass doors customers get into lobby, reminding the rosewood box. Then, passing through a small welcome passage they find themselves into a bar. The bar’s facade is finished in onyx and decorated with spectacular lightning. Lounge, by contrast, is bright with high ceilings and big windows. A glass outbuilding adjacent to the lounge is a winter garden, where you can find tables as well.

The place’s atmosphere is festive and elegant without pretentiousness thanks to art objects: funny two-meter blue Micky Mouse in selfie zone and “hands” in the lounge, that are pulling heavy velvet curtain.

BENUAR’s main feature is that being a place for business meetings and friends gatherings, it can easily turn into restaurant with night exciting show program. The space is organized in a way that lets customers comfortably lunch by day and by night enjoy artists’ performance.

The scene is equally visible from all the tables. There is a separate benoir lodge for vip-guests, which gave the name to the restaurant. Seven-meter’s ceilings allowed to make a mezzanine level with a table, sofas, chairs and excellent view on the scene and common lounge.

Glazing, which makes space feel light and airy, combines with full soundproofing by night, when the show begins, thanks to numerous curtains and draperies. They act as interior decor and at the same time make rooms fully soundproofing and shady when needed.

Interior combined with author’s cuisine (its main emphasis in the capital of Primorsky Krai are, naturally, seafood). Today its the only restaurant of this level in the city: a sight for those, who want to spend time soulfully, deliciously and worthily.
