The custom home at 9606 Dunsmuir Way provides a warm, sophisticated environment to enjoy the natural beauty of Martis Camp. Overlooking a tributary to Martis Creek and park-like surroundings, the home is within close walking distance of the Springs Pavilion, Tennis Pavilion, and Lookout Lodge.

The layout of this family retreat is designed for comfort, privacy and flexibility. The home is designed to comfortably host a large group of friends and family. The home is designed for easy indoor/outdoor living and opens out to a gentle flowing creek that provides a serene setting to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Architectural concrete and steel columns support the unique butterfly roof. During spring rains and winter runoff these columns will become an active water feature and icefall. Silver-grey barnwood siding blends into the natural environment and natural ledgestone anchors the home to the land. A large covered dining patio provides year-around shelter with a protected grill area that is accessible during winter.

The 1,600 sf outdoor living area has a gas fire pit surrounded by moss covered granite boulders, built-in BBQ grill area, covered dining and a covered integrated six-person hot tub that provides shelter and privacy.

The great room provides ample living spaces for large groups with the kitchen, dining and living spaces flowing together. The great room features a modern Spark fireplace set into a stone and steel hearth that provides a sense of warmth to both the living area and entry.

The kitchen features a breakfast nook surrounded by glass with views towards the creek and is a great place for eating or for playing games, cards or puzzles.

The secluded ground floor master suite offers its own patio, bedroom fireplace, freestanding soaking tub, and generous walk-in dressing room and is separated from the rest of the house by a tranquil breezeway. The upstairs master suite features a private balcony overlooking the creek with views of Lookout Mountain.
