malka architecture defines parisian office space with bold colors
parisian practice stephane malka architecture have developed the headquarters for ADYAX.
the space envelops the company’s forward-thinking ethos, while creating new ways to work in a 21st century office building. the spatial configuration displays flexible and modular spaces, using color, materials and furnishings to inform the employees. alternatives settings have been established due to the large use of laptops – giving the office a sense of mobility within the company. these varied atmospheres give employees the freedom to choose between collaborative, collective or isolated work.
in order to promote generous hubs for informal exchanges, socializing and meetings, the theme of distorting scales have been explored throughout. PVC sliding walls act as partitions, providing thermal and acoustic insulation, while the abstract colors capture a strong identity and a playful touch. the bold color choices of blue and yellow have been utilized to underline the illusion feature which is prominent in the workspace. painted cubes that are anchored to the hall’s columns become an distraction between abstraction and spatial reality.
