Godfrey Hotel
latest contender in the race for the biggest retractable urban Roofscape
The Godfrey Hotel is the latest contender in the race for the biggest and brightest retractable attraction with their urban “Roofs cape.” Boasting of elegance and glamour, the fourth-floor, 15,000 square-foot event space is Chicago’s largest indoor/outdoor lounge.
Libart designed a fully glass retractable structure for Godfrey Hotel. This system is a type that is called lean-to system. Because of the insulated glass and thermally broken aluminum the event space has high heat insulation. It doesn’t Mather if it rains or snows outside, people still have fun and relax at the outdoor area with the protection of the Libart system.
This Restaurant project was chosen for the list of best Seven Restaurants with retractable roofs from Architectural Digest
